The historic centre of Javea has some great bars and restaurants. The area around Javea is ideal for long walks in the beautiful countryside; the protected La Granadella area (about 3 m/5km) and the Montgo Natural Park (about 6 m/10 km) are very inviting!

The sandy Arenal beach is located in Javea and it has beautiful bays. Nearby you can find villages and small towns such as Denia (for a pleasant shopping experience and its marina), the cosy fishing village of Moraira (about 5 m/9km), the attractive town of Altea (about 6 m/11 km) with its narrow little streets and beautiful parish church or you could just go for a ride through the beautiful hinterland.

Nature lovers too, can have great fun for example on Mount Montgo which is ideal for a walk or even a day of hiking. But, there are also organised day trips to the hinterland by quad.

Benidorm (about 34 m/56 km) hosts magnificent theme parks. The most popular are Aqualandia (water slides), Terra Mitica (theme park), and Mundomar (dolphinarium).
